Pearl Crypto is extending its rally, with PEARL climbing to $2.27 as Coinbase listing buzz and the project’s AI-computing narrative draw fresh attention. CoinGecko data shows the token gaining 16.3% over seven days, pushing its market capitalization close to $800 million as traders look for clues behind the surge.
The latest move has reignited interest in the AI-focused crypto project, but the mystery remains: Is Coinbase speculation driving the rally, or is Pearl’s underlying technology attracting a fresh wave of buyers?

Coinbase added Pearl (PEARL), Axis Labs (AXIS) and Stable (STABLE) to its asset-listing roadmap on October 19, bringing the tokens into focus as traders assess potential future exchange support.
The announcement gives Pearl a timely catalyst. A potential listing on a major exchange can expand a project’s visibility, attract speculative interest, and raise expectations about greater market access.
The chart shows PEARL recovering from lows near $1.67 on October 17 before accelerating above $2.20 on October 21. This sharp move shows renewed buying interest, but can it hold its gains?

What Is Behind Pearl Crypto AI Narrative?
Beyond exchange speculation, Pearl has a distinct proposition: its blockchain is built around proof of useful work, a model intended to connect mining with computational tasks used in artificial intelligence.
Rather than relying exclusively on conventional cryptographic calculations, Pearl’s approach uses GPU-based matrix multiplication associated with AI workloads. The goal is to make computational work serve a practical purpose while contributing to the network’s mining process.

PRL IS UP OVER 4X IN A MONTH, BUT WHAT IS IT!?
Pearl is a Layer-1 coin mined by GPUs doing matrix multiplications, the core math behind AI models.
The idea is to turn useful AI compute into a Bitcoin-style proof of work.

That positioning puts Pearl in the broader AI-infrastructure narrative, where investors are looking for crypto projects with applications beyond token trading.
Pearl has also connected its technology to AI inference through Together AI, giving the project a practical use case to develop alongside its blockchain. If the network can demonstrate reliable performance, growing adoption, and sustained demand for its computing services, the AI narrative could provide a longer-term reason for market interest.
For us, this creates a second potential driver beyond Coinbase speculation. Exchange-related excitement can be short-lived, while measurable network adoption and commercial demand could give the project a more durable foundation.
The key question is whether Pearl can turn its technical proposition into meaningful usage as attention around PEARL continues to grow.
Can Pearl Rally Break Higher?
PEARL is at $2.27, close to the $2.30 area visible at the top of its seven-day chart. After its sharp advance, that level is an important area for traders to watch as the token tests the strength of its latest momentum.
A sustained move above $2.30, supported by continued buying and rising trading volume, could strengthen the bullish case and put the previous all-time high back in focus. A failure to hold recent gains, however, could prompt profit-taking after the rapid recovery.
Volume will be particularly important. CoinGecko records $11.57 million in 24-hour trading volume, alongside $9.51 million in perpetual futures open interest. Futures activity can amplify price moves in either direction, making it useful to watch whether leveraged positioning grows faster than spot demand.
Supply dynamics also matter. Approximately 352.6 million PEARL are in circulation against a maximum supply of 2.1 billion tokens. That difference makes future emissions and the token distribution schedule important considerations for longer-term valuation.
For bullish traders, continued exchange-related attention, stronger spot demand and evidence of expanding AI-computing adoption could support further gains. If momentum fades or speculative positions unwind, PEARL could give back part of its recent advance.
