UGG’s Waterproof Slippers Can Handle Winter's Worst

Remember the UGG Tasman slip-on? It wears winter armor now.

The brand has released a new version called the Tasman Guard GTX, essentially a winter-ready slipper featuring waterproof suede uppers and Vibram sole units.

Although the brand has done GORE-TEX Vibram Tasmans before (Classic Mini boots, too), the latest features a new rubber mudguard that adds extra protection for unexpected off-road detours.

Beyond the winter-ready build, another great thing about the Tasman Guard GTX is its color options. It's quite stylish, landing in black, olive green, and the UGG classic chestnut.

UGG boots have ruled fall/winter rotations for years now, with many often calling the cooler time of year "UGG season." Nothing beats the cozy classic. But the brand's other winter shoes are also great, and backed by the finest winter tech.

Speaking of which, the UGG Tasman Guard GTX slip-ons are now available on its website for $205.
