Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles are among the names attracting attention as fans speculate about the Super Bowl 2027 halftime show. The NFL’s biggest annual event will return to Los Angeles on February 14, 2027. The game is scheduled to take place at SoFi Stadium. However, organisers have yet to announce the official halftime performer.
Speculation grew after a mysterious social media image sparked rumours about the possible headliner. Some fans believed the image revealed the performer, but the supposed leak appeared to be fabricated. Prediction markets have also shifted as music fans consider several major artists. Miley Cyrus and JAY-Z have repeatedly emerged as leading contenders, while Styles has gained attention.

Cyrus stands out because of her diverse musical career and widely recognised catalogue. The Grammy-winning singer rose to fame as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel. She later established herself as a pop star with hits including “Flowers,” “Wrecking Ball” and “Party in the U.S.A.” Her blend of pop, rock and country influences could offer plenty of variety for a halftime performance.
Fans have also imagined a show combining Cyrus’s early Disney-era hits with her more recent music. Speculation intensified in early October after a screenshot allegedly showing a deleted Apple Music teaser circulated online. Some viewers thought the silhouette resembled Cyrus. However, the image has not confirmed her involvement in the event.

JAY-Z is another major contender, partly because of his existing relationship with the NFL. His company, Roc Nation, partnered with the league in 2019 to help shape its music and entertainment strategy. The rapper also has a catalogue featuring popular tracks such as “Empire State of Mind,” “99 Problems” and “Run This Town.” His appearance could also create opportunities for surprise collaborations with other artists.
Harry Styles and Justin Bieber have also entered the conversation as fans debate possible performers. Both artists have established international fan bases and extensive catalogues of popular songs. Nevertheless, speculation and prediction-market movements do not confirm who will take the stage. Until the NFL makes an official announcement, the Super Bowl 2027 halftime headliner remains unknown.
