Head coach Lisa Fortier, along with assistant coach Jordan Green and the rest of the Gonzaga Bulldogs staff, offered power forward/center AnnaClaire Bugbee of Mandan, North Dakota.
The Class of 2028 product took an unofficial visit to Spokane, Washington, about two weeks ago. She averaged 17.5 points, 13.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game in her sophomore high school season, on her way to being named to the All-State Second Team.
After an unofficial visit to Gonzaga, I am blessed to receive an offer to play Division 1 Basketball @ZagWBB. Thank you @FortZagWBB, @FortierHoops and Jordan Green for the visit and believing in me and my future. @BravesGBB@NorthTartan@NikeGirlsEYBL#uncommitted@mandansportspic.twitter.com/rhMFKbiTga

Bugbee, an unranked 6-2 presence in the frontcourt, also competes on the AAU circuit with North Tartan in the Nike EYBL. Outside of basketball, the current junior plays volleyball as a middle blocker and throws javelin for the Mandan track and field team. In all of her athletic extracurriculars, it’s evident that Bugbee will bring size, versatility, and athleticism to the next level in whatever path she chooses.
Outside of Gonzaga, Bugbee holds other college basketball offers from the Creighton Bluejays, San Jose State Spartans, New Mexico Lobos, and many other mid-to-low major programs. The Zags don’t have any commits from the 2028 recruiting class at this time.
