The Arizona Cardinals will likely be playing the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6 without the Rams' starting left tackle, Alaric Jackson, who has been suspended for the next two games.
Jackson has been suspended after punching Buffalo Bills outside linebacker Bradley Chubb after their Monday Night Football game. The loss and incident afterwards took place that night on Oct. 12. The suspension was reported to be official on Oct. 13 by Tom Pelissero.
ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter posted the punch footage on his X account:

Jackson has been starting for the Rams not only this season, but the previous three. His absence in the contest against Arizona will mean that both teams' starting left tackles will not be playing, barring a successful appeal by Jackson over his suspension. Cardinals starting left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. was ruled out for the season prior to the Cardinals' last game with a torn biceps.
The Cardinals are tied for just 12th in sacks per game, so Jackson's mistake could open more opportunity for the Cardinals to win at the line of scrimmage. On the flip side, the Rams are tied for just 26th in sacks per game, so Johnson's injury could open up more opportunity for the Rams to win at the line of scrimmage.
The Rams are third in the NFC West standings at 2-3, and the Cardinals are fourth in the NFC West standings at 1-4.
The Rams are expected to be without two-time AP Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett for Week 6, too, as he is recovering from a knee injury.
