The Boston Celtics philosophy for NBA success is still changing from season to season. Or at least that is the point of view of the hosts of the "How Bout Them Celtics!" podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, who took some time on a recent episode of their show to talk over the basketball strategy of Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla.
More specifically, they get into the fundamental aspects of how he executes winning basketball, and how it adapts to the players he has on the roster from his first campaign at the helm with Boston up to the present. Yes, there are a lot of 3-pointers involved, but the style of play that has come to be known as "Mazzulla ball" has a lot more to do with optimizing the tolls a coach does have at their disposal.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about the method behind the Mazzulla Madness.
