The Denver Broncos have made an injured reserve decision for running back Tyler Badie after he injured his thumb on Thursday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6.
The Broncos have placed Baide on IR, which means he will have to sit out at least the next four games against the Arizona Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers before being eligible to return.
To fill Badie's former spot on the 53-man roster, Denver activated running back Jonah Coleman (ankle) from IR. Coleman sat out the team's last four games after spraining his ankle in Week 2.
Badie has rushed six times for 22 yards while adding six receptions for 67 yards. He has picked up seven first downs on 12 touches and has also played 43% of the special teams snaps in the five games he's played. A skilled pass blocker and talented special teams player, Badie will be missed on third downs and in the kicking game while sidelined.
