Green Bay Packers WR Matthew Golden had six receptions for 104 yards and a touchdown in a Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Golden was targeted a team-high 13 times.
Why It Matters: By going for 104 yards on Sunday night, Golden became the first Packer since Davante Adams in 2021 to post back-to-back games of more than 100 yards. In a vacuum, it was another strong performance from the second-year wideout. In reality, however, Golden left several plays on the field. He dropped three passes, including a pair of touchdowns, that might've landed him as the overall WR1 for the week. While that part is disappointing, the fact that Golden is growing into a reliable weekly producer is great news for fantasy owners that drafted him or nabbed him early in the year off waivers. He's already established himself as a pretty solid WR2, and it's not inconceivable that he could push into WR1 territory before the season is out.
