SEPANG: A father was left heartbroken after his daughter, whom he had sent to school as usual yesterday, died after reportedly suffering breathing difficulties caused by an obstructed airway.
Meor Shahriza Meor Zakaria, 48, said he rushed to the school after being informed that his daughter was having difficulty breathing.
He said upon arriving, he found her unconscious on the second-floor corridor.
He tried to help, including performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but she did not respond.
"About 15 minutes later, the ambulance arrived. By then, my daughter was completely unresponsive," he said when met at the Dengkil Muslim Cemetery here today.
