Citizens across Pakistan can now report cybercrimes through Police Helpline 15 following the integration of police emergency call systems with the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
NCCIA Director General Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said emergency helpline systems operating across different provinces and major cities have been connected with the agency to make it easier for citizens to register cybercrime complaints.
Under the new arrangement, cybercrime-related complaints received through Police Helpline 15 will be automatically forwarded to the relevant NCCIA zones for immediate legal action.
The system will allow citizens to report incidents involving cyber harassment, online fraud, data theft, and other cybercrimes through existing police emergency services.
Rizvi described the integration as a major step toward improving public access to cybercrime complaint services and ensuring that complaints reach the relevant authorities.
The initiative also aims to strengthen coordination between police and NCCIA, simplify the complaint process, and ensure faster action on reported incidents.
