A driver has been fined £2,270 for taking a parking ticket off their windscreen and throwing it at a warden's face.
Stephen Lang, 58, was given the original parking ticket after he parked outside a marked bay at Exchequer Quay car park in Penryn, Cornwall.
However, he ripped the ticket off the windscreen and threw it towards a female civil enforcement officer before walking away from her.
Moments later, he approached the officer again as she recovered the ticket from the ground and attempted to put it back on the vehicle.
He removed it again, screwed it up and threw it in the direction of the officer.
The incident was recorded by the officer’s body-worn camera and by CCTV covering the car park.
Lang, of Camborne, Cornwall, was initially found guilty of littering in Camborne, Cornwall, on November 20, 2025.
He was issued with a £250 Fixed Penalty Notice for littering, which he failed to pay despite a reminder and warning that the matter could be referred for prosecution.

Lang did not attend the hearing at Truro Magistrates’ Court on October 14 and was found guilty in his absence.
He was ordered to pay a £250 fine, £1920.90 in costs and a £100 victim surcharge.
Councillor Thalia Marrington, Cornwall Council’s cabinet member for community safety and public health, said: 'It is both unacceptable to litter as it is to be aggressive to an officer doing her job.
'We will not tolerate any abuse towards our officers.'
