Rockstar Games could release Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) on PC by the end of March 2027, according to multiple sources.
The company is targeting the first quarter of 2027 for the PC version. If the timeline holds, PC gamers may not have to wait as long as they did for previous Rockstar titles.
Rockstar followed a much longer release schedule for its earlier titles. Grand Theft Auto V arrived on PC nearly two years after its console debut, while Red Dead Redemption 2 took more than a year to make the jump to PC.
An earlier PC release would also give players another option for experiencing GTA 6.
Those with powerful gaming computers could benefit from higher graphical settings and performance, depending on the final PC version and hardware requirements.
The reported timeline could also matter for GTA’s roleplaying community. PC has become a major platform for GTA V roleplay servers.
If Rockstar introduces an online mode for GTA 6, the PC version could once again attract roleplayers and creators.
Rockstar has not confirmed the reported PC release window.
More to follow.
