N1 TV has decided to give all electoral lists an equal opportunity to present themselves on it TV channel and the n1info.rs news portal in the final days of the campaign for the October 25 parliamentary elections.
Oglas
Each electoral list will be offered an identical slot of up to three and a half minutes on television, as well as space for a text of up to 2,000 characters on our portal.
The program will be broadcast every evening as part of N1 TV's election coverage, until the start of the election silence period.
We have made this decision guided by the principles of journalism in the public interest: accurate, impartial and responsible reporting that enables citizens to make a free and informed choice in elections. We also firmly believe that all citizens have the right to hear directly the positions of the electoral lists contesting the elections, and that all lists have the right to an equal opportunity to present their platforms.
All electoral lists will be offered equal airtime, equal space, the same technical conditions and equal visibility, regardless of their size, political orientation or standing in opinion polls.
The television airtime and space on the portal are intended exclusively for each list to present its own political platform, including its goals, policies and proposals to voters. They may not be used for personal attacks on representatives of other electoral lists or any political opponents.
We expect each electoral list to use this opportunity to explain to citizens what it stands for, rather than to criticize its political opponents.
