International Trash-Fishing Competition

Teams of five collect floating waste from Banderas Bay by boat, in an event run by the non-profit Limpia Tu Mar. Children aged 8 and over may take part with a parent or guardian, and the organisers cap the fleet at 40 boats. The registration deadline was 6 October, so most visitors will come to watch from the pier.
