MOSCOW, October 12. /TASS/. Russian businesses must feel secure, confident, President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with Alexey Repik, Chairman of Delovaya Rossiya (Business Russia), an all-Russian public organization.
During the talks, the head of state asked Repik for his views on how the government could help businesses navigate current challenges.
"I would like to discuss this with you and hear your opinion on what steps the state needs to take to ensure that businesses feel secure and confident at home. They need to know that the state is safeguarding their interests, just as the business community is currently stepping up to help Russia address its challenges," Putin said.
The president emphasized that the investment climate is a perennial topic, as there are always issues requiring close attention from both the business community and the government. "These issues arise for various reasons and are never permanently settled; new elements constantly emerge. However, the current situation brings its own distinct challenges, which is obvious," Putin added.
