Having a 2-4 record six games into the season was not on the Bingo cards of most Los Angeles Rams fans.
The team has been hit hard with injuries. Edge-rushers Myles Garrett and Kobie Turner, defensive tackle Poona Ford, and tight end Terrance Ferguson are all on injured reserve, and star wide receiver Davante Adams joined them after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday’s 18-16 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Fellow receiver Puka Nacua has also dealt with injuries this offseason, and with the Rams’ passing offense struggling this season, Bleacher Report’s Alex Kay believes they should make a move now to add another premier wideout.
Kay recently wrote the Rams should sign free-agent WR Tyreek Hill, whose agent Drew Rosenhaus recently told reporters his client was close to signing with another NFL team.

...
“With Adams expected to miss six to 10 weeks while he recovers from a ruptured hamstring, the Rams need to offset the loss of their star wideout with a pickup on the open market. No free agent can move the needle more than Tyreek Hill,” Kay wrote.
“… Hill's résumé makes him an intriguing potential replacement, although his recovery and lengthy absence create uncertainty about how quickly he could contribute…. If healthy, his speed, route-running and elusiveness could help Los Angeles replace some of Adams' production.”
Replacing Adams’ production won’t be easy.
Through six games, he totaled 30 catches on 49 targets for 480 yards and four touchdowns. He ranks eighth in receiving yards, 16th in receptions, and he’s tied for sixth in touchdowns.
While Hill is no longer in his prime, he could still be a serviceable target for Matthew Stafford.
In 10 seasons, Hill has totaled 819 catches, 11,363 yards, and 83 touchdowns. He had six 1,000-yard seasons in seven years from 2017 to 2023, and Hill could be a strong WR3 once Adams is back healthy.
