The collision happened at about 2:30 p.m. on Hamlyn Road at the entrance to the Village Shopping Centre when a sedan and a SUV collided.
The SUV then overturned and rolled into the side of a Metrobus next to the bus driver.
The older male driver of the overturned SUV was out of the vehicle when The Telegram arrived on scene but his elderly female passenger was trapped inside until firefighters were able to extricate her and put her on a stretcher for transport.
The driver of the sedan was also taken to hospital while the driver of the bus, and its passengers, had no reported injuries.
The injuries to the two people taken to hospital were not considered serious.
The RNC is investigating the incident.
