The shooters arrested in connection with the firing at actor Tiger Shroff's car in Mumbai had initially planned to target another Bollywood celebrity, but abandoned the plan after reaching the city, sources said.
According to sources, the accused could not pursue their original target after arriving in Mumbai. They subsequently learnt through fan posts and Instagram pages that Shroff visited a football ground in Juhu every Sunday and had relatively limited security.
The shooters allegedly chose Shroff because he moved around in public with less security, making him an easier target, sources said.
