The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) on Friday announced that the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) for certain in-service employees of Village and Ward Secretariats under the April 2026 session will be conducted at five district centres on October 30 and 31, 2026, and exclusively at the NTR district centre on November 1.
A statement issued by the APPSC said the examination will be held in Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, NTR, Tirupati and Anantapur districts on October 30 and 31. The test scheduled for November 1 will be conducted only at the NTR district centre.
The examination is applicable to Panchayat Secretaries Grade-V in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, Village Revenue Officers (VROs) Grade-II and Grade-I in the Revenue Department, and employees appointed on compassionate grounds in various Heads of Departments, Directorates and the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat after May 12, 2014.
Senior Assistants promoted from the category of VRO Grade-I in the Revenue Department, compassionate VROs and in-service Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs) are also covered under the notification.
Eligible candidates can download their hall tickets from the APPSC official website, https://psc.ap.gov.in, from October 23, 2026, onwards.
