Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of Iran’s parliament, has threatened regional countries with retaliatory action from Tehran if they provide resources or facilities to artificial intelligence companies.
Tasnim reported on Sunday night, October 18, that Ghalibaf made the remarks on social media.
According to the report, he warned regional governments against making any resources available to artificial intelligence companies.
“Anyone who assists them will face our retaliatory action,” Ghalibaf said.
Iran has previously threatened regional countries with military action. During its war with the United States, Arab countries were also targeted by Iranian missile and drone attacks.
