Taberna Group of Companies (TGC), led by entrepreneurs Anthony “Ka Tunying” Taberna and Rossel “Mrs. T” Taberna, introduced its four businesses and partnership opportunities during its first-ever TGC FOR BUSINESS 2026: An Open House for Partners & Clients on Oct. 13 at The Metro Tent in Pasig City.
The event, carrying the theme “ONE STEP,” brought together entrepreneurs, corporate clients, industry partners, government representatives, and members of the media to explore the group’s products and services.
The open house featured exhibits, food tastings, product demonstrations, and business presentations from TGC’s four companies: Ka Tunying’s, Kumbachero Food Corp., Taste of the Town Catering, and Outbox Media Powerhouse Corp.
The gathering formally opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Taberna couple, alongside business leaders and government representatives. Among those present were Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ma. Cristina Aldeguer-Roque, Department of Tourism Undersecretary Stanley K. Ng, and Pasig City Vice-Mayor Robert “Dodot” Jaworski, Jr.
The couple’s daughter, Zoey Taberna, also led a prayer of gratitude following the ceremony.
In an interview, Anthony Taberna said the open house was an opportunity to share the couple’s entrepreneurial journey and introduce potential business partners to the group’s growing operations.
“Every business begins with one step,” Mr. Taberna said. “Through this open house, we hope to share what we have learned and open more opportunities for other Filipinos who want to start their own businesses.”
Ka Tunying’s showcased its restaurant and dining operations, Filipino dishes, bakery products, corporate gifting, and reseller opportunities. Its Community Partner reseller packages start at P25,000.
Kumbachero Food Corp. presented its food manufacturing and supply services, including white-label manufacturing, toll production, bulk supply, and reseller programs. Its “Create Your Own Food Brand” concept allows entrepreneurs to explore developing their own food products using the company’s production capabilities.
Taste of the Town Catering highlighted its catering services for corporate events, weddings, and social celebrations, while Outbox Media Powerhouse Corp. presented its event management, multimedia production, creative direction, artist management, and interactive activations.
Rossel Taberna said the group also hopes to establish partnerships with entrepreneurs seeking opportunities in the food and services industries.
“We want people to see that there are different ways to begin a business,” she said. “Through our companies, we hope to provide opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and build partnerships that allow us to grow together.”
TGC said its business ecosystem is designed to serve consumers, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and corporate clients through its food, manufacturing, catering, and event services.
The group, which has approximately 250 members in its TGC Communi-T, continues to emphasize faith, gratitude, integrity, and service as part of its business values.
For the Taberna couple, the open house marks another step in their efforts to expand their businesses while creating opportunities for other Filipinos to grow alongside them.
