TL;DR: The Xbox Halo Special Edition Console Hallmark Keepsake Ornament is available for $27.99 at Amazon. It features light-up effects and plays the iconic Xbox startup sound and Halo 2 guitar riff.
Trading boring glittery snowflakes for a translucent green homage to Microsoft's peak gaming era is easily the best holiday upgrade you can give your tree.
The Xbox Halo Special Edition Console Hallmark Keepsake Ornament brings Microsoft’s iconic limited-edition hardware straight to your Christmas tree for $27.99, letting you relive all those endless hours spent parked in front of the TV battling the Covenant on original hardware.
This Amazon-exclusive miniature looks like it was shrunk down straight from the classic 2004 bundle. Styled in translucent green plastic, it measures roughly 3.5 inches wide and features the "Halo Special Edition" text on the front face. It comes complete with a tiny wired "Duke" controller resting on top of the console, giving your tree an instant dose of retro LAN party vibes without pulling down heavy branches.
It’s not your ordinary ornament, so it does way more than just sit there looking fancy. Hitting the tiny power button on the front illuminates the console and triggers the original Xbox boot-up chime alongside the roaring guitar riffs from the Halo 2 "Mjolnir Mix" theme. It instantly transports you back to screen-cheating during split-screen multiplayer matches or grinding through legendary campaign runs.
Hallmark also includes the gift box and all three replaceable LR44 button batteries, so you can test the startup sounds before hanging it on a branch. Whether you're building out a full gaming tree alongside Hallmark's classic black original Xbox, PS1, and Zelda ornaments, or just snagging a piece of gaming history, this translucent green keepsake hits every single nostalgia node.
Grab an Xbox Halo Ornament at Amazon to add a touch of your personal favorite gaming nostalgia to the tree this year.
