Prog-metal master Dream Theater have entered the studio to record their 17th album, the follow-up to 2025’s Parasomnia.
A photo of all five members of the band at their own Ytse Jam Studios was posted on Dream Theater’s social media pages on Tuesday (see below), with the caption, “#DT17 is underway…”
The upcoming LP will mark the second album since the return of original drummer Mike Portnoy, who rejoined Dream Theater in 2023 after 13 years away from the band.
