New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown will play on Thursday against the Chicago Bears.
After missing four games, the three-time All-Pro returned from a high ankle sprain against the New York Jets on Sunday. Fortunately, he didn't suffer any setbacks that would cause him to miss Thursday Night Football on a short week.
Brown was initially listed as a limited participant at practice this week, but he was upgraded to a full participant on Wednesday. The Patriots will need all of the help they can get going on the road at Soldier Field against a talented Bears team.
It'll be a game where the Patriots will be down multiple starting offensive linemen. They'll also be missing wide receivers Romeo Doubs and Mack Hollins. Brown had three drops against the Jets, and he only caught three passes for 27 yards.
He'll need a much better outing to give New England a fighting chance against quarterback Caleb Williams and the Bears' high-powered offense.
