Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh is set to make his Telugu debut with RAPO23.
Shooting for the film has already started in Hyderabad. Deshmukh will feature alongside Ram Pothineni.
Pothineni announced the news by sharing a video of the film on his Instagram handle on Monday as he welcomed Deshmukh on board.
“Happy to bring you all @ritestid in an absolutely crazy role in #RAPO23. Welcome on board, brother,” he wrote.
The film is Pothineni’s directorial debut and is produced by Krishna Pothineni under the Rapo Cinematics banner and is set in a neo-noir world.
Samyuktha features as the female lead in the film.
Deshmukh re-shared the post on his Instagram story and wrote, “I’m proud of you my bro @ram-pochineni - this is your first directorial. Thank you for all your love. Already loving the awesome journey.”
The technical team of the film includes cinematographer Thirunavukarasu (Tirru), production designer AS Prakash and music composer Sam CS.
The action sequences are being designed by Peter Hein, Vikram Mor and Kevin.
