Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation has announced that one person was killed and 11 others injured in a new Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
In a statement posted on its X account early Monday, October 12, the authority said the person killed was a Pakistani national.
The statement added: “The attack caused material damage, the extent of which is being assessed.”
Saudi officials had earlier reported that a projectile struck two passenger terminals, causing a fire.
Meanwhile, a Houthi attack on the same airport on Saturday reportedly left at least 12 people dead and more than 300 others injured.
