LOS ANGELES: Hollywood star Hilary Swank and her husband, Philip Schneider, are expanding their family once again.
The two-time Oscar winner and her entrepreneur partner, who welcomed twins in 2023, are now expecting their third child.
Swank shared the news in a playful video featuring multi-coloured stick figures dancing in the dark in a recent Instagram post.
Three figures dance before a fourth joins in, complete with a tiny, glowing stick figure attached to its bump.
"A lot of people have been asking what project I'm doing next; this one releases in December," the 52-year-old actor captioned the clip.
The couple married in 2018 and became first-time parents in 2023 following the birth of their twins, Aya and Ohm.
Swank had previously shared her excitement during an earlier television appearance, saying: "I'm so happy to share the news with you and with America right now."
In a 2025 interview with Women's Health, the actress reflected on her journey to motherhood, revealing that she froze her eggs at 37 before falling pregnant a decade later.
Starting a family in her late 40s "was a magical time in my life, when it all culminated," she said.
She noted that getting older had made her a "much more patient" and "much more understanding" person, adding that becoming a mother later in life after building her career allowed her to "really sink in and be present" with her children.
Alongside growing her family, the Boys Don't Cry and Million Dollar Baby star has shifted her focus towards campaigning for infant health.
In recent years, she has been a leading advocate for Assembly Bill 1901, which requires nappy manufacturers to list all ingredients on their packaging and online.
