Musinsa Standard to open in PHL
MUSINSA STANDARD, the private label of Korea’s leading fashion platform Musinsa, is set to open its first Philippine store this November, bringing contemporary Korean everyday fashion to Manila. Musinsa’s private label, Musinsa Standard, is an accessible everyday wardrobe combining clean design, quality construction, and versatility. Designed to be mixed, matched and restyled, the brand moves beyond basics with fashion-forward lines like City Leisure that offer fluid, constantly evolving pieces for modern wardrobes. Musinsa Standard’s first Philippine store gives shoppers a place to explore combinations, experience the fits and fabrics firsthand. To ensure the collections fit local lifestyles, the brand has adapted its range specifically for the Philippine market. “As Musinsa Standard grows from Seoul into global markets, we adapt our products and styles to fit the character of each region. In the Philippines, we combine the sensibility of Korean fashion design with functional materials suited to local living and climate,” said Donald Ha, head of Southeast Asia & Middle East at Musinsa. “The pieces are meant to be layered, mixed, and made your own, not worn as one fixed look.” For more information, visit Instagram.com/musinsa_standard_ph.
Habitude launches Barrier for Barrier

FILIPINO skincare brand Habitude has launched Barrier for Barrier, a holiday giving campaign in partnership with MAD Earth (formerly Make A Difference Travel), running until Dec. 6. Habitude’s skincare lineup — the Thicc Water Toner, Dew It All Essence, and Skin On Holiday Serum — was formulated to strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. For every Habitude product purchased during the campaign period, P50 goes directly to the legal fund supporting the Aeta Tribe of Yangil, Zambales, in their effort to secure and protect their ancestral land titles. Every Habitude product purchased through Dec. 6 — at habitude.ph, on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop, and at The Beauty Edit Gallery at Spatio, Opus Mall — contributes P50 to the Aeta of Yangil’s land titling fund through MAD Earth. Sets count per product — three products mean P150, even at a discounted bundle price. Barrier for Barrier is not a cause the brand adopted for the season. Habitude’s co-founders have been supporters of MAD Earth for over half a decade — long before Habitude was even a brand. Their relationship with the organization began through its agro-reforestation programs in indigenous ancestral communities, and has grown as MAD Earth’s work expanded to include legal support for communities working to formalize their land rights. The Aeta Tribe of Yangil, Zambales, is one of these communities. For nearly a decade, they have been working through the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples to convert their ancestral domain claim certificate into a formal land title. The process is long, detailed, and costly, even with pro bono work by the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
Packaging recycling at Spatio’s The Beauty Loop

NOW open at The Beauty Edit Gallery inside Spatio, Opus Mall, The Beauty Loop accepts empty beauty packaging from any brand, including plastic and glass containers and paper packaging. The program sorts collected materials and directs them to the appropriate recycling or waste-recovery channels, with a dedicated reporting system that documents collection and processing. The Beauty Loop is a collaboration among Filipino skincare brand Habitude, beauty platform The Beauty Edit, and lifestyle destination Spatio, with Greencycle Innovative Solutions as its recycling and waste recovery partner. The Beauty Edit Gallery at Spatio serves as The Beauty Loop’s collection point, bringing the initiative into a retail space where beauty consumers can make returning their empties part of their routine. The Beauty Loop accepts empty, rinsed, and dry beauty packaging, including plastic (bottles and tubes for cleansers, toners, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, serums, and sunscreen), glass (bottles and jars for serums, perfumes, face creams, and toners), and paper and cardboard (product boxes, outer cartons, and paper wrapping). A visual guide is available at the collection bins, and staff can help answer questions about accepted materials. Participants are encouraged to scan the QR code at the collection point and complete a short form. Each registered visit is logged under a unique Beauty Loop reference ID, allowing the program to track participation over time. These records, combined with Greencycle’s collection reports, help establish how much material is collected, what types of packaging are involved, and how each material stream is handled. The information will inform the program’s impact reports and help identify opportunities to improve and expand the initiative. Greencycle Innovative Solutions, a Philippine recycling and waste recovery company with three processing facilities, handles the collected packaging. Rigid plastics such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) are processed into products including sacks and twine. Flexible and other difficult-to-recycle materials are sent for co-processing at cement plants, where they are used as fuel substitutes. Glass is sent to a partner facility for repurposing, while paper and cardboard go to a partner paper mill. After each collection, Greencycle provides a report detailing the total weight collected, material breakdown, and recovery method for each stream. These records form part of The Beauty Loop’s impact reporting.
