The Great British Bake Off returned in scrumptious style this week, as the remaining 10 bakers were put through their paces once again by Paul Hollywood and Nigella Lawson.
This week was bread week and for the signature, the contestants were tasked with making their very own garlic bread. Elsewhere in the episode, the bakers were also challenged with a demanding technical, as well as a bread-themed showstopper.
The new series premiered last month, introducing viewers to the new cast, as well as fresh judge Nigella Lawson, who's replacing Dame Prue Leith, who left the show after nine years.
Lawson judges alongside Paul Hollywood, while Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding return as hosts once more.

Who left The Great British Bake Off 2026?
Nikki - Week 4
Nikki also left the tent in week 4 due to family reasons.
Upon the judging of the signature challenge, Alison told audiences: "Now unfortunately, the lovely Nikki had to go home due to family reasons so I am going to step in here for the judging of her cheesy pesto tear and share garlic bread."
Speaking about her time on the show, she told Channel 4: "Although it was a difficult time, I'm incredibly grateful for the memories I made in the tent and for the opportunity to have been part of such a special experience."
Molly - Week 4
At the end of week 4, Molly sadly became the third contestant to leave the series.
Noel had the difficult job of telling her that she would be leaving the tent.
Molly said: "I knew it. I am sad to be leaving the tent, but I think it’s my time and it’s the right decision. I would feel guilty if I stayed longer than you guys. You have got more to prove. I really wanted to do biscuit week and bread week, and I got to bake with my husband in the tent. It’s been a really wonderful experience and I am really proud of myself. I have learned so much, thank you."
Shannon - Week 3
At the end of week 3, Alison Hammond had the difficult job of telling Shannon that she would be leaving the tent.
Shannon said: "It’s so hard to put into words what this has meant to me. I have become myself if anything, and I have let go of any persona of who I wish I was. I have just really been me and it has been life changing. That is the word life changing, and I don’t want to say goodbye to anyone!"
She cheekily then asked Paul Hollywood for a handshake to say goodbye, and got one!
Danni - Week 2
Danni became the first baker to leave the tent after failing to impress the judges during biscuit week.
Danni said: "Thank you so much, it’s been so lovely, it has! Oh my goodness I am really happy that I was the first one out because I know everyone in there has more skills than me. But I think I’ve learned something about myself, which is that in the right circumstances I can make quite a few friends. Finding love in a group of strangers – that’s just beautiful."
Looking back on their time in the tent, Danni added: "What I took is a wonderful new family who I would move mountains for and who are lovely and interested in my silly ideas.
"Some of the best advice I have ever gotten about how to improve doing something that I love, and absolutely amazing memories of having fun sweating over a hot tent in the middle of a garden and larking about."
The Great British Bake Off continues on Tuesday 6 October at 8pm on Channel 4.
