Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin was carted off the field during Monday night’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Washington’s best wideout went down on a third down play with roughly two minutes remaining in the first quarter. The ESPN broadcast showed McLaurin clutching his left knee.
The Commanders confirmed that presumption, announcing that McLaurin was ruled out with a knee injury.
Teammates surrounded McLaurin, emphasizing the seriousness of the moment, with several players on both teams coming over to wish him well. On-site reporters stated that he was wearing an aircast as he was leaving the field.

Losing McLaurin for any length of time would be a massive blow, especially if he’s gone for an extended stretch.
