Join us for all the build-up and action as it happens from today’s Serie A games, as Como visit Fiorentina, Milan take on Atalanta, and Juventus host joint leaders Lazio.
We begin at 14.00 UK time (15.00 CEST) with Como trying to rediscover their form against a Fiorentina revitalised by their returning coach.
At 17.00 UK (18.00 CEST), Milan and Atalanta come off midweek Europa League wins hoping to bring that form to Serie A after stuttering results.
Lazio are the surprise outfit of the season so far and visit troubled Juventus at 19.45 UK time (20.45 CEST).
Cesc Fabregas (Como)
“It is always difficult, because there are so many players who deserve time, and it’s also tough when there are so many games close together, some are getting used to playing with our system, so I need to evaluate how many changes to make and when. It’s a process of adaptation for all of us, we need to be on the same level.
“Mattia Liberali is an excellent player who looks a bit stronger physically than he was when he first arrived. He is at the start of his career, we had so many young players come through here, I am not afraid of using them, all I ask is that they show courage and work for the team.”
Paolo Vanoli (Fiorentina)
“We need to learn from our mistakes. If we start from the second half against Genoa, we must recognise we’ve always gone behind, so that means we need to start better and defend as a unit. I try to use the best line-up for every match, Beto and Pellegrino are both hungry and could even play together, it’s purely a tactical decision. We want to find greater consistency.”
Udinese 0-3 Lecce
Kosta Runjaic and Udinese fell to their fifth straight defeat in Serie A on Sunday afternoon as Lecce rose to a 3-0 victory at the Bluenergy Stadium thanks to goals from Kiolonda Gaspar, Konan N’Dri and Jamil Siebert.
