The Washington Commanders are set to take on the New York Giants in Week 5, and they now know whether or not they will be doing so with star wide receiver Terry McLaurin.
According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, McLaurin will be active today. However, he we will likely not be a full go while being suited up and ready to play.
All in all, it is certainly good news, given McLaurin's status was very much up in the air entering the weekend. He was given a questionable tag due to the hamstring injury that kept him sidelined against the Indianapolis Colts in London a week ago.
McLaurin's value to the Commanders offense can't be understated. He already has 10 catches for 141 yards and a touchdown in three games this season, and Washington is will be without fellow wide receiver Stefon Diggs, who is also sidelined with a hamstring injury.

McLaurin has been one of the most underrated wide receivers since entering the league as a third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Since then, he has racked up 508 catches for 7,102 yards and 42 touchdowns in his professional career.
McLaurin played college football at Ohio State, where he had 75 catches for 1,251 yards and 19 touchdowns from 2016-18.
