Vinicius Jr. will not have just any Sunday. While Real Madrid prepares to face Barcelona in El Clásico, news related to his love life once again shifted the spotlight off the pitch.
Virginia Fonseca, his ex-partner, confirmed that she has resumed her relationship with Brazilian singer Zé Felipe. The announcement came at a critical moment for Vinicius, both in footballing terms and in matters of love, after his relationship with the influencer ended.
Now, Virginia and Zé Felipe are betting on their love story again, with a joint post that included a phrase full of meaning: “Our love never ceased to exist”.
Virginia Fonseca and Zé Felipe confirm their reconciliation
The Brazilian influencer and the singer shared the news of their reconciliation through social media. After some time apart and having gone their separate ways, both decided to give themselves a new chance and rebuild their relationship.
The post did not go unnoticed because of the message that accompanied the images, in which the couple made it clear that their feelings were still present despite the breakup. The phrase about a love that never disappeared became one of the central details of the announcement.
The ring that caught attention in the images
Beyond the confirmation of the reconciliation, one of the elements that stood out in the post was the ring that Virginia showed alongside Zé Felipe. The detail added a new dimension to the announcement and sparked interest about the couple's future.
Virginia and the singer have three children together. They got married on March 26, 2021, after beginning their relationship in 2020. They had three children: Maria Alice, Maria Flor, and José Leonardo. Their reunion marks a new chapter for both of them, who had already shared a life together before their separation and divorce, which was officially finalized in July 2025.
The news comes ahead of Vinicius's Clásico
The reconciliation became known hours before the clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona, one of the most anticipated matches on the football calendar. Vinicius, however, will not be able to take part in the match due to the suspension he received following his sending-off against Villarreal.
The Brazilian forward will have to watch the match from the sidelines, while his name once again appears in the news over a matter related to his personal life.
The timing coincidence between the Clásico and Virginia's announcement adds interest to a story that connects football with the world of celebrities.
