BATU PAHAT: A Form Four student was charged at the magistrate's court here with the murder of Irene Sofiya Mohd Khairool Faisal earlier this month.
The 16-year-old, who was Irene Sofiya's classmate, nodded to indicate that he understood the charge when it was read out before magistrate Mustaqim Sukarno.
No plea was recorded as murder cases fall under the jurisdiction of the High Court.
