The Department of Marine and Ports Services advised that the “Orange Ferry Route has been temporarily suspended due to deteriorating weather and sea conditions in the East End.”
A Government spokesperson said, “This suspension has been implemented in the interest of passenger and crew safety. Ferry services will remain suspended until weather and sea conditions improve and are deemed safe for operations.
“Service will resume once conditions are deemed safe for operation.
“The Department thanks the public for its patience and understanding.”
