Daol Investment & Securities (030210.KS) said on the 19th that it has launched a service allowing investors to trade Korean and U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds directly on TradingView, the global chart analysis platform. It is the first Korean brokerage to support U.S. stock trading within the TradingView platform.
TradingView is an asset analysis tool used by more than 100 million investors and traders worldwide. It offers about 400 technical indicators along with a range of market data covering stocks and other assets.
Users who select Daol Investment & Securities as their broker on TradingView and link their account with a cloud-based certificate can handle everything from stock analysis to order execution on a single screen. The service also supports web browsers and Windows and Mac desktop environments, which is expected to improve convenience for investors who analyze charts on PCs.
The TradingView integration is free, and the basic online commission for U.S. stock trades is 0.07%. "We will expand the range of order methods and tradable products, and broaden our connections so that customers can use Daol accounts through the investment tools they use most often," an official at the brokerage said.
