TS Galaxy coach and former Bafana Bafana striker Bernard Parker has drawn attention after sharing religious messages about lust, temptation and troubled marriages. The posts surfaced shortly after he announced his separation from Kacha Stepanovic on Monday, 12 October 2026, and acknowledged personal struggles that had affected their relationship.
The 40-year-old has not publicly explained the meaning behind his latest reposts. His marital circumstances have also attracted renewed attention, as questions remain about his relationship with Wendy Parker, whom he married in 2012.
Bernard Parker’s cryptic posts about lust and marriage
According to The South African, Parker reposted several faith-based Instagram Reels addressing temptation, infidelity and relationship difficulties.
One message referred to the “spirit of lust”, while another discussed what to do when a marriage becomes miserable. Other religious messages warned about temptation and encouraged people to seek forgiveness after hurting their partners.
However, Parker has not explicitly confirmed that the posts refer to his marriage or explain whether they relate to specific events in his personal life.
What Bernard Parker said about his personal struggles
Parker's social media activity follows a statement announcing his separation from Stepanovic. In the statement, he apologised for his actions and acknowledged their impact on the people closest to him.
“I have made mistakes and struggled with personal addictions that have affected my life and the people I love,” Parker wrote.
Addressing Stepanovic directly, he added:
“Kacha, I’m truly sorry for the times I hurt you, let you down, and caused you pain.”
He also accepted responsibility for his mistakes, acknowledging that “some things cannot simply be undone with an apology”.
Stepanovic subsequently shared Parker's statement and posted a message of her own about the consequences of lust and addiction.
“Lust and addiction will strip you of your family, your work, your name and everything you built,” she wrote.
She added:
“Make sure whatever you do is worth losing it all.”
