The Green Bay Packers (3-2) host the Dallas Cowboys (2-3) at the historic Lambeau Field as the two represent the Sunday Night Football matchup on NBC and Peacock! Both Dak Prescott and Jordan Love are coming off 300-plus yard passing performances, but had very different results. The Packers are coming off their most dominant win of the season, smacking the Bears 31-7 whereas the Cowboys were upset 24-16 on Thursday Night Football to the Bucs.
Green Bay has strung together two wins and are 3-1 in the past four games with wins over the Jets, Buccaneers, and Bears. In those wins, Green Bay’s allowed a combined 38 points versus 74 points permitted in the two losses. It’s been night and day for the Packers in wins compared losses, so building off their momentum and getting three-straight wins is incredibly important to keep pace in the NFC North with the undefeated Vikings.
The Packers outgained the Bears 428-246 in yards last week and forced five turnovers! Green Bay’s defense couldn’t have played any better, but after facing Jalon Daniels in his first-ever start and a mixture of Case Keenum and Tyson Bagent; Dak Prescott and the duo at wide receiver might be a serious problem in primetime.
The weather will be perfect for this game and that’s exactly what Precott, CeeDee Lamb, and George Pickens want to hear. Pickens caught a season-high nine receptions on 11 targets, 130 yards, and his first touchdown of the season. CeeDee Lamb on the other hand had his worst game of the year (2 rec, 9 yards) after posting a season-high 17 receptions on 21 targets for 89 yards and a score. Now Green Bay will have to guess whose day it is, or if it’s both. The Dallas run game has been close to nonexistent in four out of five games. The Cowboys had 50 rushing yards on 13 carries against the Buccaneers after 75 yards on 25 carries versus the Texans. If it wasn’t for the four touchdowns via the ground in that span, you’d say why even pass at all? Both teams have a lot of injuries, but Dallas has a laundry list, especially on defense, so this could be another high-scoring game to end our Sunday nights!
Let’s dive into the numbers and see if we can’t find an additional sweat or two.

Expert picks & predictions for Packers at Cowboys
Vaughn Dalzell (@VmoneySports) leans the Over 53.5:
“The game total of 53.5 is tied for the highest of the week, along with Bill vs Raiders; and I’d have to agree this should have fireworks. Dallas will likely be out multiple starters on defense and the Packers could be down three defensive lineman and a corner. After Prescott and Love balled out last week; there’s a good chance they have big nights in primetime with good throwing weather and equally bad run games.”

Quarterback matchup for Cowboys at Packers
· Dallas: Dak Prescott – For the third-straight game, Dak Prescott has thrown at least 40 times and at least 275 yards in four-consecutive. Despite that, Dallas was held to season-low 16 points and Prescott tossed a season-high two interceptions. Prescott enters the weekend top five in completions (129), pass attempts (192), yards (1,381), QBR (78.9), passer rating versus zone (112.0), and clean pocket completion percentage (73.7%). Prescott and the Dallas offense are having a great year, but it hasn’t translated to a winning streak.
· Green Bay: Jordan Love – Jordan Love has his third 300-yard performance of the season and tossed two touchdowns for a fifth-straight game. In the first three games of the season, Love went 65-of-124 (52.4%) compared to 47-of-61 (77%) in the past two games. Love has been far more accurate lately and his yards per completion’s lengthened compared to the first three games. Last year at Dallas, Love threw for his second-most yards (337) on 31-of-43 (72%) with three touchdowns. Dallas has a ton of injuries on the defensive side of the ball, including three cornerbacks this week.
