Fantasy football users, beware: this week's slate of games have been a little uglier than usual.
That's not to say you couldn't have done better in setting your lineup. You thought it was smart to start Darren Waller instead of an injured Tyler Warren. And your decision to place A.J. Brown back into your ranks after his weeks-long absence? Shameful.
Still, there was no way you could prepare for the lack of scoring that took place across the league. Points have been aplenty. But glittering individual outings — the type that light up the fantasy football marquee? Those have been more difficult to find.
With that, here's what you need to know about Week 6's place in fantasy football infamy through its first 12 games.

How Week 6 could make dubious fantasy football history
Clunkers — defined by astute observers as underwhelming performances by star players — have been an ever-present part of the fantasy football calendar.
Even by that standard, the Week 6 slate of games has been historically bereft of eye-catching displays. With two games left on the weekly calendar, no player has eclipsed the 30-point mark, per NFL Fantasy Football. Not Josh Allen. Not Bijan Robinson. Not Jaxon Smith-Njigba. No one.
Some have flew closer than others. Malik Nabers' 12-catch, 165-yard day yielded 28.5 points for those fortunate enough to roster him on their fantasy squads. Kenneth Walker continued his strong start with the Chiefs, producing 128 yards and two rushing touchdowns — good for 27.9 points. Trevor Lawrence and Tyler Shough's four-TD days amounted to 27.3 and 27 points, respectively.
Nevertheless, none of the dozens of players who saw the field across the opening 12 games were able to touch that vaunted 30-point plateau. If that sordid run of form continues in the final two games of the week — Packers vs. Cowboys and 49ers vs. Commanders — it would make minor fantasy football history.
Per NFL Fantasy Football, the last time that a week failed to produce a 30-point scorer was in Week 13 of the 2009 season.
There's still plenty of time for some of the league's brightest stars to author up memorable showings and avoid that dishonor. The likes of Jordan Love, Matthew Golden, Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey all have eyes on eye-catching showcases under the bright lights.
Nevertheless, if the score of your fantasy football game looks a little less appealing that usual, this could at least partially explain it.
