Lotte Group said on the 12th that it will showcase future mobility technologies ranging from next-generation materials to artificial intelligence, autonomous driving and smart logistics at a mobility exhibition in Japan.
The event is Japan Mobility Show Bizweek 2026, running from Oct. 13 to 16 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Lotte Group made its first appearance at Japan Mobility Show 2025 last year, promoting its eco-friendly energy-based future mobility businesses and technologies to overseas markets. This year, six affiliates — Lotte Chemical, Lotte Energy Materials, Lotte Infracell, Lotte Innovate, Lotte Global Logistics and Lotte Rental — will take part, focusing on finding concrete business cooperation opportunities with global companies.
For the event, Lotte Group is setting up a Lotte pavilion under the concept of "L.MoVE," short for Lotte Mobility Value Enabler. The name is meant to convey the group's role as a partner that creates new value in the mobility sector and drives business growth for its partners. The pavilion will introduce the group's mobility value chain, spanning next-generation materials and infrastructure through logistics and services.
Among the affiliates, Lotte Chemical will present flame-retardant, lightweight and recycled materials, as well as paint-free design materials that require no separate coating process. Lotte Infracell and Lotte Energy Materials will exhibit cathode foil, coated foil and copper foil for electric vehicle batteries. Lotte Innovate will introduce technologies that link vehicles, roads and city data, including autonomous mobility services, AI smart tolling and cooperative intelligent transport systems (C-ITS).
Lotte Global Logistics will showcase its strategy for building a future logistics system based on eco-friendly and unmanned operations, including hydrogen trucks, autonomous trucks and automated loading and unloading technology. Lotte Rental will unveil plans to enter the Okinawa market in Japan, led by a digital short-term car rental model featuring contactless check-in and unmanned key boxes.
"This event is an occasion to promote Lotte's competitiveness in the mobility business to global companies and to find concrete cooperation opportunities," a Lotte Group official said. "Based on the technologies and business capabilities of each affiliate, we will expand global partnerships and continue to uncover new growth opportunities in the future mobility sector."
