The Australian High Commission in Bangladesh joined Durga Puja celebrations across the country this week, highlighting the festival’s role in fostering unity and strengthening connections among communities.
In a statement shared on social media on Wednesday (21 October), the High Commission said it had the privilege of taking part in the festivities and experiencing the warmth and hospitality associated with the celebration.
“Durga Puja is a reflection of the power of culture to bring people together and strengthen connections across communities,” the High Commission said.
The High Commission also extended greetings on the occasion of Bijoya Dashami, saying, “Shubho Bijoya!”
