The rain that had threatened on Saturday fell in just a confined area - the northeast. There was, as had been forecast, a drop in temperatures, Mallorca having been very much at the periphery of the influence of the system that produced Storm Austen.
Sunday is expected to be sunnier and warmer and with only gentle breezes at most. These calm and warm conditions are forecast to continue on Monday and Tuesday at least. There is at present a risk of rain later in the week.
