Make a moist chocolate cake or cupcakes

This easy chocolate cake recipe makes two cakes for sandwiching together, or about 24 cupcakes.

Ingredients

2 cup flour

1 ½ cup castor sugar 

2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

¾ cup cocoa

1 cup butter milk

½ cup boiling water

2 ½ teaspoons vanilla essence

1 cup oil

Method

Sift all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. 

Mix all wet ingredients together in a separate bowl. 

Combine the dry and wet ingredients together and mix well. 

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees  for 25 - 30 mins or until done. 

Bake in a cake tin around 20 cm. 

This recipe bakes 2 cakes which should be sandwiched together, or 24 cupcakes.
