Amazon is currently offering a 50% discount on the 75-inch TCL QM8L SQD-Mini LED TV, bringing its price down to $1,497.99 from $2,999.99, its lowest price ever, according to price trackers. That's a pretty significant price cut for a television that only came out earlier this year, especially considering PCMag gave it an outstanding rating and its first Lab Award for being the brightest LED TV it has tested. The discount also extends to the 65-inch model, now $1,197.99 (from $2,499.99), along with steep cuts on the larger 85- and 98-inch versions. You also get free delivery to a room of your choice, a service that normally costs $19.99, though unpacking, assembly, packaging removal, and haul-away aren't included.
Beyond the price, the QM8L has TCL’s slim “Zero Border” bezel for a clean, minimalist look—but its brightness is the real draw, with PCMag measuring an impressive 3,504 nits. And while that falls well below TCL’s advertised 6,000-nit peak, it is still enough to make HDR highlights stand out and keep the picture easy to see in a sunlit room—an area where Mini-LED televisions generally have an advantage over OLED models. TCL pairs that brightness with up to 4,000 local dimming zones and Halo Control, which limits the glow around bright objects and brings the contrast closer to OLED. CNET was similarly impressed, giving the QM8L an 8.8 out of 10 and naming it the best television its reviewer had tested in 2026.
Gaming support is equally comprehensive, with a native 144Hz refresh rate, variable refresh rate, and four HDMI 2.1 ports capable of accepting 4K video at 144Hz. Beyond gaming, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ cover movies and streaming, while Google TV brings together your apps and adds Gemini voice controls. As for audio, its Bang & Olufsen audio system works with Dolby Atmos and produces better sound than many built-in TV speakers. While it cannot give you the deep bass or directional effects of a dedicated surround-sound system, it may still be enough for someone who wants to avoid adding a soundbar immediately.
