What if your digital pet could hatch from an egg, grow into an adult, remember your conversations and develop its own personality? That is the idea behind Sweekar, an AI-powered pocket pet developed by Takway.AI.
Unveiled at CES 2026, Sweekar combines a physical robotic companion with the nurturing experience of a digital pet. Users can feed it, clean it, talk to it and play with it as it progresses through different life stages. Unlike traditional virtual pets, Sweekar is designed to change its physical form as it grows.
The project later launched on Kickstarter, where its campaign has now ended. However, the end of crowdfunding does not automatically confirm that every backer has received their device or that regular retail sales have begun.
Sweekar AI Pet Overview: What Is It?
Sweekar is a small, egg-shaped AI companion that combines robotics, voice interaction, memory and pet-raising mechanics. It is designed for people who want an interactive gadget that feels more personal than a standard toy.
The experience begins with an egg. As users care for the device, it progresses through four stages: Egg, Baby, Teen and Adult. Its development is influenced by daily interactions, including feeding, cleaning and talking.
Moreover, Sweekar is designed to remember selected details from conversations and use them to shape future interactions. Its personality traits can also evolve according to how the user raises it.

Sweekar AI Pet Features
1. It Physically Grows as You Care for It
The biggest attraction of Sweekar is its claimed physical growth system. Instead of simply changing its character on a screen, the device is designed to expand from a small egg into a larger adult form.
Users earn progress through everyday care activities. Feeding, cleaning and interacting with the pet help it move through its four growth stages.
This feature gives Sweekar a different identity from ordinary electronic pets. It turns routine interactions into a longer journey rather than a game that resets after a few days.
2. AI Memory Makes Conversations More Personal
Sweekar uses adaptive voice recognition and an AI memory system to retain selected details from previous interactions. According to the developer, it can remember names, preferences, emotional cues and frequently discussed topics.
As a result, conversations are designed to feel more continuous. Rather than responding as though every interaction is completely new, Sweekar can use remembered context to shape its behavior.
However, its memory should not be confused with human understanding. The experience depends on the capabilities of its AI system and the information it can retain.
3. Its Personality Develops Over Time
Sweekar begins as a blank slate. The developer says its personality evolves according to how users interact with it.
Its behavioral system uses MBTI-inspired traits, allowing the pet to develop a more distinctive character as it grows. Two devices may therefore behave differently depending on their individual interaction histories.
For users, this could make the experience more engaging than a toy with a fixed set of scripted responses.
4. It Can Go on Its Own Adventures
Sweekar is also designed to continue exploring when its owner is away. Once it reaches adulthood, the device can reportedly go on simulated adventures and share the results when the user returns.
Its official website describes trips lasting around two to four hours, with generated photos, postcards or collectible souvenirs. These are part of its companion experience rather than evidence that the physical device independently travels to real-world destinations.
5. Portable Design for Everyday Use
At approximately 89 grams, Sweekar is small enough to carry in a pocket or bag. Its compact design makes it suitable for a desk, backpack or travel companion.
The device also supports basic care without a continuous internet connection once it has been set up. Nevertheless, advanced AI features and software updates may require connectivity.
6. Customization and Social Interaction
Sweekar supports interchangeable shells, outfits and accessories. Users can customize its appearance to make their companion feel more personal.
The developer has also described an NFC-based friend-tap feature that allows compatible Sweekar devices to interact. This adds a social element to the pet-raising experience.
Sweekar AI Pet vs Traditional Digital Pets
| Feature | Sweekar AI Pet | Traditional Digital Pet |
|---|---|---|
| Physical device | Yes | Usually a small electronic screen |
| AI conversations | Designed for conversational interaction | Often limited to preset responses |
| Long-term memory | AI memory system | Usually limited game-state memory |
| Growth | Claimed physical and digital progression | Usually digital progression |
| Personality | Shaped by interactions | Often predefined |
| Customization | Shells, outfits and accessories | Depends on the device |
| Internet | Needed for some advanced features | Often unnecessary |
Sweekar’s main difference is its combination of physical interaction and AI-driven behavior. However, the depth and reliability of those features will be easier to judge after independent reviews of final production units.
Sweekar AI Pet Price in Nepal
Sweekar does not have a confirmed retail price in Nepal. Its Kickstarter campaign has ended, and a current official retail price for Nepali buyers could not be verified.
For that reason, it is better not to publish an estimated Nepal price as though it were official. The final cost for local buyers could depend on the manufacturer’s sales plans, international shipping, customs duties and taxes.
Readers interested in the device should check the official Sweekar website for current sales and delivery information before placing an order.
Availability
Takway.AI first unveiled Sweekar at CES 2026 and subsequently launched its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The campaign is now marked as ended.
The company originally planned mass production and deliveries within 2026. However, that original target should not be treated as proof that shipments have been completed.
Before buying, potential customers should verify the latest production updates, delivery estimates, supported countries and after-sales support.

Still, buyers should look beyond the concept. Production quality, long-term software support, privacy practices and actual delivery status will determine whether Sweekar becomes a lasting companion or simply an interesting crowdfunding project.
