Slogan "Direct Selling, Driving Human Transformation" Guides Sessions and City Tours on Oct. 19 with Sunset Dinner on Oct. 20 at Sangsang Platform Incheon City said the "2026 WFDSA World Congress" will be held for three days from on Oct. 19 to 21 at Inspire Entertainment Resort on Yeongjong Island.
Hosted by the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations and organized by the Korea Direct Selling Industry Association, the event is the industry's only global conference, and this will be the first time it is held in Korea. Marking its 18th edition this year, the congress will bring together about 600 participants, including executives and association officials from countries around the world, for exchanges and networking.
This year's slogan is set as "Direct Selling, Driving Human Transformation." Through various sessions and programs, participants are expected to share cases of global innovation and explore a new vision for the industry. Since the event was confirmed for Incheon in Oct. 2023, the city has worked closely with the organizers and gone through extensive preparations, including site inspections and administrative support.
During the congress, a range of tourism-linked programs will be operated to enhance participant satisfaction. On the first day of the event, on Oct. 19, city tours will be offered on three routes connecting Songdo, Yeongjong Island, and Open Port Area. Participants will enjoy a Central Park water taxi and Wangsan Marina yacht experience, while in the Open Port Area they will directly experience Incheon's history and culture through a cooking class and walking tour.
On the evening of on Oct. 20, a "Sunset Dinner" event will be held at Sangsang Platform, a representative complex cultural space in the old downtown area. In the venue, which was created through the regeneration of a former grain warehouse, participants will have dinner and networking time against the backdrop of the sunset over Incheon Port.
For the successful operation of the congress, Incheon City jointly set up a tourist information booth and a K-content experience zone with the Incheon MICE Alliance.
Kim Young-shin, director general of the International Cooperation Bureau at Incheon City, said he hopes the congress will serve as an opportunity to lead cooperation and growth in the global direct selling industry, and that participants will fully experience Incheon's urban appeal and remember it as a city they would like to visit again.
