“Get ready to enter the world of the DC! DC: The Bloody Valentine coming tomorrow on Sony LIV. Coming in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam,” reads the caption on Instagram.
DC marks Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut as a lead actor and is loosely adapted from the 1917 novel Devdas. The film was officially announced in November 2025. Sanjana Krishnamoorthy and Avinash Raghudevan also play key roles in the film.
DC follows the journey of Lokesh's Devdas, a gangster. Wamiqa, on the other hand, plays Chandra, a woman betrayed by the very society she trusted.
