KT (030200.KS) gathered partner companies in its "AI for All" consortium to review preparations for the service launch and discuss ways to expand cooperation.
The company said it held the AI Connect Summit 2026 on the 12th at its Gwanghwamun office in Seoul's Jongno district. Held under the theme "Beyond Connection to Execution," the event drew KT Chief Executive Park Yoon-young along with chief executives and senior managers from consortium member companies. The consortium includes Daum, Upstage, Saltlux, EBS, BC Card, Zigbang, Connectwave, Musinsa, ActionPower, Mathpresso, DeepSearch, Rebellions, Lablup, VESSL AI, Motif Technologies and NC AI.
Participants shared the status of preparations for the AI for All service and plans for its official launch in December. They also discussed service upgrades and ways to broaden cooperation within the consortium.
AI for All aims to deliver an integrated AI experience across search, education, finance, content and real estate by linking homegrown AI models with services tied to everyday life. In its early stage, the service will focus on identifying the intent behind a wide range of questions to provide the best possible answers and on explaining everyday information in easy-to-understand terms. Users will be able to ask in natural language about weather and daily living information, stocks, people and content.
KT said it plans to support service integration among member companies on the back of a stable platform and infrastructure, and to expand an open cooperation framework that allows companies from a variety of fields to join. "It was a meaningful occasion in which companies representing core areas of AI discussed together how to successfully execute and develop AI for All," Park said. "We will communicate and cooperate more closely with participating companies to deliver a seamless AI experience in daily life for the public and contribute to the continued growth of South Korea's AI ecosystem."
