Houston Christian makes a short road trip in search of its third consecutive win.
The Huskies (4-3, 3-1 Southland) will trek to Beaumont for a Saturday afternoon kickoff against Lamar (5-2, 3-1).
While HCU used a big fourth quarter to get past East Texas A&M last week, Lamar - which is ranked 16th in the Stats FCS Top 25 - saw its winning streak end at four games with a 34-31 loss to Southeastern Louisiana.
The teams have played just twice before, with the road team winning each time. They last played in 2023 in Houston, a 21-19 Lamar victory.
