SAP Korea will select 100 South Korean mid-sized and small companies and support their digital transformation and adoption of enterprise resource planning software.
The company announced the plan at a press briefing on the SAP NEXT 100 program held on the 20th at the IFC complex in Seoul's Yeongdeungpo district. NEXT 100 identifies 100 mid-sized and small companies with clear growth potential and provides various forms of support for their businesses. Hana Bank, Visa Korea, PwC Korea, ASPN and Blueard are taking part in the program alongside SAP Korea.
Companies chosen for the program will receive a "growth diagnostic package" worth 25 million won ($17,400) free of charge, including consulting on a digital transformation roadmap and an assessment of readiness to use artificial intelligence. SAP Korea will also provide an "adoption support package" worth several hundred million won, covering special pricing on SAP licenses, implementation partner packages and benefits linked to financing and payments. The program runs for a total of eight months, consisting of one month of diagnostics, one month of design, four months of implementation and two months of stabilization. The diagnostic and design stages are provided free of charge, while costs apply to the actual system build.
SAP Korea will pick participants based on growth potential, the need for innovation, suitability for standardized business processes and feasibility of implementation. There are no restrictions by industry, and the company plans to notify applicants of the results within four weeks of submission. The first round of applications runs through the 31st of this month, and a second round is scheduled to be announced after Nov. 1.
